Online applications for Medway secondary schools opens

Is your child starting secondary school in September 2012? Online applications for secondary school places starting open on Monday, 5 September and can be made by filling in the online form on Medway Council’s website at www.medway.gov.uk/onlineadmissions.

Parents have until 4pm on Monday, 31 October to name up to six secondary school choices for 2012. All paper application forms also need to be submitted by this date.

By applying online, parents who provide an email address will receive an email confirming their application has been received. An email will also be sent after 4pm on National Offer Day, 1 March 2012, letting parents know what school place their child has been offered.

Parents and carers who live in Medway should submit their applications to Medway Council, even if they include any schools outside of the Medway area.

Primary school admissions for 2012 will also open in November 2011.

For those taking the 11+ (Medway Test) this September, the results will be out on Friday 7th October 2011.
